The application serves as an interface for the Trimble X7 3D Laser Scanner, facilitating both instrument operation and scan management. Designed specifically for use with the X7 Scanner, it offers tailored functionality that enhances the user experience.

Access to the application requires a one-time sign-in using a Trimble ID. Existing Trimble users can employ their current credentials, while new users have the option to create an account directly within the app.

For effective use, the Trimble X7 must be powered on and within the Wi-Fi range of the mobile device. On first launch, users are prompted to connect to the scanner's Wi-Fi network via their iPhone settings, using a password provided during setup. Once successfully connected, users are directed to the application’s home screen, where various features can be accessed.

On subsequent launches, the application automatically attempts to connect to the previously used scanner Wi-Fi network, utilizing pre-configured credentials. This streamlines the user experience by facilitating quick access to scanner features within the app.
